Snow in Midsummer 457-458 [1-2-2012]

Today I read pages 457 - 458 of Snow in Midsummer. The vows that Dou E had made before she was executed that state if she was innocent when the sword took of her head not a drop of blood would stain the ground, Next, even though it was midsummer Heaven would send down three feet of snow to cover her body, and lastly, the district would suffer three years' drought. All of these vows came true after Dou E was executed. Dou E then tells her father to cut Donkey into pieces and avenge her wrong.
